The Geology of St. George is a new exhibit in our classroom that opened in October 2018 and will be on display until fall of 2019. Have you ever wondered about the rock formations around town? For example, how were the Pine Valley mountains formed? Has it always looked like it does now? If not, when did changes happen? If you’ve wanted to know the answers to these and other questions, come explore the exhibit. Additionally, the classroom’s hands-on activity is “dress like a dinosaur.” Try on some pterosaur wings or wear claws and a tail to see what kind of dinosaur you’d want to be.
