21st Anniversary Celebration

Event Date:
February 26, 2021 - February 27, 2021

Join us for a weekend of fossils and fun!

It’s been 21 years since Dr. Sheldon Johnson found the first dinosaur footprint on his alfalfa farm that lead to the creation of the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. Many changes have since followed, including the shutting of our doors for several months last year. But we’re here! And we want to thank our visitors for supporting us through these tough times and help us look forward to a bright future. Join us the last weekend of February for some fossils and fun as we celebrate the discovery of the site!

When: February 26 & 27 from 10am-5pm

Where: St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm
2180 E. Riverside Dr., St. George, UT 84790

What: There’s plenty to do! First, watch our new explainer videos throughout the museum. Then, test out our new scavenger hunt and finally, participate in our fossil identification activity. The activity includes using a microscope and id cards to see what kind of fossil you uncovered.

Special Anniversary Pricing! Children are free with a paying adult both Friday and Saturday.

We’d like to thank the Create in Utah CARES Act grant from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums for funding support of this community event.
